COMPANY HISTORY

Good Neighbor Home Improvement and Preservation, LLC  was started in 2001 by Jody Roscoe.  Already working in the construction field, he was interested in learning more about home renovations.  Jody made a deal with a friend to renovate his newly acquired rental property. Jody jumped right in teaching himself how to remodel a home, from the studs out. He continued to work in the construction field for the next seven years. While also doing projects for friends and family part time, he studied and cultivated his craft.

 

In 2008, Jody officially opened his own business, then named Good Neighbor Handyman and Cleaning Services, LLC.  Over the past seven years, Good Neighbor has grown from a one man operation to a five man crew.  Jody continues to be out there every day, completing projects, connecting with clients, and ensuring that his staff is providing the same quality service and craftsmanship that he is known for.

Jody a wide range of skills from painter to finished carpenter to radon mitigation specialist.  His portfolio includes historical restoration, home remodels, hardwood flooring, decks, fencing, outdoor sheds and cabanas, furniture making, etc…  He has built his business on repeat clients and word of mouth, and has a reputation as a contractor who is honest, operates with integrity, providing quality craftsmanship and excellent customer service.  He has received positive reviews on Angie’s list and Thumbtack, and his work has been featured on remodelaholics.com.
